Show your support for state workers!

Yard SignIn recent weeks, AFSCME local unions and retiree subchapters have distributed 30,000 “We Support State Workers” yard signs throughout Illinois.

The signs are one way for union members, friends and allies to show that they know state employees provide vital public services, that the Rauner administration is wrong to launch political attacks on state workers and our union, and that settling a fair contract is essential to protecting public services, preserving our right to strong union representation and maintaining our middle-class standard of living.

We have received many requests for these signs. State employees who want a sign should continue to get them from your local union. AFSCME retirees should contact their sub-chapter. If you are not a union member or otherwise are unable to get a sign from your local or retiree subchapter, we have arranged to make available a limited number of yard signs at the locations below.

We ask for a donation in the amount of $2 per sign to the AFSCME Solidarity Fund.
