COVID-19 Resources
Illinois is facing a crisis like we’ve never seen before. Thousands of public service workers are on the front lines, fighting the coronavirus pandemic and supporting our communities. All of our lives are profoundly affected.
This resource page is to share important information and help answer your questions. If you need further assistance for a problem on the job, please contact your local union leadership or AFSCME Council 31 Staff Representative.
The coronavirus outbreak daily brings new concerns, issues and questions. You can be assured that AFSCME is doing everything possible to address these developments as they arise. However, at core, nothing is more important than the actions each of us can and must take every day: Do not come to work if you are sick. Make sure to wash your hands thoroughly and regularly. If you have the symptoms of COVID-19, consult a medical professional immediately.
In times of crisis, the vital role of public service workers becomes more important than ever. Thank you for all you continue to do to serve the people of Illinois despite the grave challenges we face.
