Here are some common questions people have about the Workers' Rights Amendment:

Q: I heard this amendment will raise my taxes?
A: The Workers’ Rights Amendment has nothing to do with taxes. Politicians raise taxes, not workers. In fact, the WRA will put more money into workers’ pockets to pay for the rising costs of everything, including tax bills.

Q: I heard this only applies to government workers?
A: The Workers’ Rights Amendment will be enshrined in the state constitution and will apply to everyone. Federal, state, and local laws still apply as well, but the WRA will ensure that fundamental workers’ rights are protected.

Q: I heard this is only going to help union workers?
A: Collective bargaining raises wages of all workers, union or non-union, because employers have to compete on wages and benefits to attract workers. In fact, data from the federal government shows that workers make on average $11,000 more in states with collective bargaining protections compared to anti-worker states.nd our families thrive.
